Background

Jason has a knack for acting as a bridge between people and technology. With over 11 years of technical sales experience, Jason is an expert at understanding clients’ needs, bringing projects to life, and deriving the true needs of every client before distilling them into actionable goals.

Jason’s career led him into the Tech giant IBM, where he gained experience in Quantum Computing and Blockchain. Through this experience, Jason became distinctly aware of the need for a “better kind of IT.” This observation quickly turned into a passion, as the idea that ‘we can be better as a whole’ led him into his studies into the processes of project development and team dynamics, leading to certifications in IBM Agile and Lean, and Six Sigma.

After leaving IBM, Jason moved into the Marketing arm of Pinterest. There, he worked with Ad Agencies across the globe to roll out Marketing campaigns in Spain, Britain, Ireland, and Australia. In the same year as his start Pinterest, Jason stepped into his Entrepreneurial beginnings with the founding of Prometheum Design. This experience provided invaluable market insight that would later become the foundations of Autonomi.

Previous Experience

Jason has extensive experience in both Technical and Sales roles. Using his understanding of Psychology and Sales, Jason worked in the international segment of IBM, where he created talent retention programs and implemented platforms within the business that allowed employees to work with projects and sectors outside of their own locale. Jason’s entrepreneurial pursuits combined with his work at Pinterest and IBM provide him a clear, actionable path toward the change he wanted to see in the way that businesses operate.

Notable Achievements

In late 2018, Jason created and led an International Product Design team in the successful end-to-end production of a mass-market product, guiding the project through ideation, prototyping, funding, and production. He also was an active contributor to the IBM Patent team, aiding the development of several new Blockchain technologies to be added to IBM’s Services. Jason is also responsible for a transformational update of the proposal of onboarding processes within the US branch of IBM, a project which reduced the onboarding process time by over 67%.

Philosophy

Jason believes that competition is what fosters the growth of any person. That means always testing the bounds of what you are capable of and necessitates that people within organizations are given the freedom to test their ideas and fail. Creating the resources and time for this iterative environment is how Goliath, disruptive companies such as Space X are able to reach the success that they do. If you allow people the freedom to try, they will usually surprise you.
