As the leader in the DIY TV repair industry, TV Parts Today manages extensive operations, including warehouse management, quality assurance, and purchasing. While the organization had refined its processes over time, they were facing operational challenges as a result of legacy infrastructure. Product sales and inventory had become hard to understand and cumbersome to investigate in the existing system. Additionally, the reliance on spreadsheets for returned products and order tracking meant employees spent more time on processes than growing revenue. Seeking a better way to leverage their data to inform important business decisions, TV Parts Today connected with Autonomi for support.

Autonomi’s Solution: Modernization to Gain Insights and Recapture Customer Interest
The first stage of the project involved a complete overhaul of the online storefront — moving TV Parts Today from its legacy SQL-based system to a modern Shopify store. With this modern system, TV Parts Today would have access to analytics and gain deep insight into its product lines. The new site also allowed the organization to refresh its brand and re-establish its authority in the TV repair space. Additionally, an AI-based sales chatbot agent was implemented on the TV Parts Today site, providing a more engaging on-page experience for customers.

With the e-commerce site modernized, the Autonomi team shifted to tackle inventory management. A new, custom-built application was developed that easily tracked the important information for every repair component, such as supplier, history, location, time on hand, and more.
